Following the cancellation of singer Pitbull's concert, scheduled for July 29 at the Mežaparks Open Air Stage, calls have emerged on social media and other online platforms urging people to gather at the venue anyway. The State Police have labeled these calls illegal and are warning the public not to comply.

The police emphasize that any unauthorized gathering, especially without prior coordination with local authorities, may be considered an administrative offense. Those who respond to such calls could face legal consequences. It remains unclear whether concert organizers plan to reschedule the event.

The concert was canceled shortly before its planned start, and the reasons have not been officially disclosed. The online calls to assemble have raised concerns about potential public order disturbances. Police urge citizens to abide by the law and refrain from participating in illegal gatherings.
