Wax on sauna shelves catches fire in police building in Tallinn
In Tallinn, wax on wooden shelves in a sauna at a police building began to smolder during the first heating, causing smoke and a burning smell; rescuers aired the premises.

At midnight on July 7, the Emergency Response Centre received a report of a burning smell and smoke coming from a police building at Kolde Boulevard in the Põhja-Tallinn district. Rescue crews arriving at the scene determined that the cause was wax on the wooden shelves of a sauna, which had started to smolder during its initial heating. No open flames were involved, and no injuries were reported. The rescuers ventilated the rooms and notified the building manager of the incident. The event caused no significant damage.
