Police Officer to Be Charged for Unjustified Use of Stun Gun

The Internal Security Bureau (IDB) has completed its investigation and referred a criminal case to the prosecutor's office concerning a State Police officer from the Riga Regional Administration. The officer is suspected of exceeding official powers by using violence – specifically, the unjustified use of an electroshock device.
