Poland to hand over two MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine soon

Poland's Ministry of Defence has announced that two MiG-29 fighter jets will be transferred to Ukraine in the near future. The move is military support for Ukraine in its war with Russia.

Poland will transfer two MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine in the near future. The announcement was made by Dariusz Lukowski, a spokesperson for the Polish Ministry of Defence.

The MiG-29 is a fighter aircraft of Soviet design. Handing it over to Ukraine forms part of the military assistance Poland provides to its neighbour, which is defending itself in the war against Russia.

The source does not specify exactly when the aircraft will be delivered, how the transfer will be carried out, or whether it is part of a wider package of aid. Such details were not included in the statement.
