Polish police are investigating possible assassination attempts against Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. The Interior Ministry, which is responsible for internal security and policing in the country, announced this on Sunday, 11 October.
Following the announcement, an emergency meeting of Poland's security services was convened the same day.
The statement did not specify when or in what circumstances each of the possible attempts took place, nor whether any suspects have been detained. The investigation is ongoing.
