Poland Refuses MiG-29 Transfer to Ukraine Over Drone Tech Dispute
Poland will not transfer MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine because Kyiv refused to share drone production technologies, Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz announced.

Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz stated that Warsaw will not hand over MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine. The reason is that Kyiv failed to uphold an agreement to share drone manufacturing technologies. The minister emphasized that Poland was ready to deliver the aircraft, but Ukraine declined to cooperate on drone technology. The announcement comes as Ukraine continues to defend itself against Russian aggression and frequently requests additional military aid from Western allies, including fighter jets. Poland has been one of Ukraine's most active supporters, but this instance shows that cooperation comes with conditions.
