Wind Turbine Part Falls on Poland's A4 Highway, Blocking Traffic
A section of a wind turbine fell onto the A4 highway in Poland near Rzeszów, blocking traffic. Disruptions may last until Saturday.

In Poland, a serious road incident occurred on the night from Thursday to Friday when a part of a wind turbine fell onto the A4 highway in the town of Terliczka. According to Polsat News, a truck transporting an oversized wind turbine element suffered a failure of the cargo fastening, causing the component to fall onto the road.
As a result, both lanes in the direction of Korczowa are blocked. Traffic is moving along the emergency lane. The exit to S19/DK97 at the "Rzeszów-East" junction is also closed. Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Magdalena Żuk from the Rzeszów city police stated that the cargo fastening broke during transport.
The road surface was damaged in the incident. Specialized equipment is needed to remove the oversized load and is being brought to the scene. Traffic disruptions are expected to last until Saturday.
