New editorial team joins Politico's Canberra Playbook newsletter

Politico Europe has announced staffing changes to its Canberra Playbook newsletter, which covers political developments in Australia's capital, Canberra.

Paul Karp has joined as the newsletter's new editor. He previously worked at the Australian Financial Review, an Australian business publication, before moving to Politico.

Amanda Copp has also joined the team, coming from the Australian broadcaster Nine. She will serve as Canberra Playbook's correspondent. In addition to her reporting duties, Copp will host a new podcast that Politico plans to launch in October.

According to Politico, the newsletter provides a daily overview of Australian political news and can be subscribed to free of charge through the publication's website. The addition of new staff, including a dedicated podcast host, suggests Politico is continuing to expand its presence in the Australian market and broaden its content formats to reach a wider audience.
