Polymarket names World Cup favorite ahead of semifinals: France leads

According to Polymarket odds, France is the top favorite to win the World Cup with a 39% probability, followed by England (22%), Spain (21%), and Argentina (18%).

Before the semifinals, Polymarket published its forecast for the World Cup winner. France is considered the main favorite, with a 39% chance of winning the tournament. England ranks second with 22%, while Spain is close behind at 21%. The defending champions Argentina have the lowest odds among the remaining four teams, at 18%.

The first semifinal on Tuesday, July 14, will feature France and Spain. A day later, on July 15, England and Argentina will compete for a spot in the final. The World Cup final is scheduled for July 19.
