Portugal's Neuraspace secures €15.6 million to protect satellites and boost Europe's space domain awareness
Coimbra-based space technology company Neuraspace has announced €15.6 million in new funding to expand its AI-driven solutions for satellite safety and space traffic management.
Neuraspace, a space and defence company headquartered in Coimbra, Portugal, has announced €15.6 million in new financing for its artificial intelligence-powered Space Domain Awareness (SDA) and Space Traffic Management (STM) solutions. The funding round brings together strategic private investment from Lince Capital, Explorer Investments and Armilar Venture Partners, along with support from Portugal's Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRRP).
The company focuses on protecting satellites and enhancing Europe's awareness of activities in orbit. Its technology helps predict collision risks, track objects in space, and plan satellite manoeuvres, reducing threats to critical space infrastructure.
Chiara Manfletti serves as the company's CEO. The investment reflects growing confidence in space technology and Europe's push for greater autonomy and resilience in the space sector. With the new capital, Neuraspace intends to broaden its operations and strengthen its presence in the expanding space safety market.
