Preiļi Municipality Guardianship Court to suspend key function indefinitely
Starting September 15, the Preiļi Municipality Guardianship Court will indefinitely suspend the issuing of certifications and preparation of document drafts. No reasons have been disclosed.

The Guardianship Court (Bāriņtiesa) of Preiļi Municipality has announced that it will suspend one of its essential functions in two weeks' time, with no set date for resumption.
According to the institution's announcement, starting September 15 this year, the Preiļi Municipality Guardianship Court will no longer carry out the issuing of certifications, nor will it prepare document drafts. The duration of this suspension is currently unknown, described by the institution only as indefinite.
No public explanation has been given for the reasons behind the suspension. The Guardianship Court has not clarified whether it is related to staff shortages, organizational changes, or other circumstances.
The Preiļi Municipality Guardianship Court operates as part of the local government structure and is located at Raiņa Boulevard 24 in Preiļi.
