Prime Day has brought a significant discount to the Roborock Saros 20, a top-rated robot vacuum and mop hybrid. It's available now at Amazon and Roborock for $1,359.99, which is $240 off its regular price and a new record low.
The Saros 20 is a favorite at The Verge. Reviewer Jennifer Pattison Tuohy called it the first robot vacuum she truly trusted to clean every room without getting stuck. Key features include excellent obstacle avoidance and a low-profile design that allows it to slide under low furniture. It can also climb up to a two-inch transition — enough to go from a bedroom to a bathroom — and handle thick rug.
When mopping, the Saros 20 uses two spinning mop pads rather than a roller mop. These pads scrub tile floors more effectively, reach into corners and along edges, and can automatically detach and reattach to avoid wetting carpets. The robot also supports warm-water mopping. Its self-maintenance dock automatically empties the dustbin, washes and dries the mop pads, and can go up to 65 days without needing a dustbin change.
Vacuum performance is strong too, with 36,000Pa of suction that picks up dust and pet hair on hard floors. According to Tuohy, only the Matic robot vacuum outperforms the Saros 20 on hard surfaces. The DuoDivide brush is designed to resist hair tangles, reducing maintenance.
Additionally, the Saros 20 supports Matter, allowing voice control through any major smart home platform without needing to reach for a phone.
