Torres and Dembélé shine in PSG win; Arsenal and Liverpool also celebrate victories

The new UEFA Champions League season kicked off on Wednesday with the first round of matches, in which several of Europe's top clubs showed their strength.
Last season's tournament winners, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), claimed a convincing victory on their home ground. Forwards Torres and Dembélé stood out with strong performances that proved decisive for the French club's success.
Other Western European clubs also celebrated wins. London's Arsenal won away against Italy's Napoli, while England's Liverpool also secured a victory.
The results from the opening round suggest that several of the tournament's favourites have started the new season with confidence, picking up their first points in the standings.
