Humorous rider for 'Singapūras Satīns' concert goes viral with unusual demands

A humorous document allegedly detailing the official requirements of the band 'Singapūras Satīns' for event organizers has gone viral on social media. The post was made by musician and comedian Edgars Bāliņš, who urged organizers to familiarize themselves with the content in advance.

The rider, dated for the SummerSound festival on July 31 in Liepāja, includes a series of unusual demands. The drinks section calls for two bottles of vodka in automatic weapon-shaped bottles, two bottles of Armenian brandy in sword-shaped bottles, and eight 1.5-liter bottles of 'Fantastika' or 'Fruts' lemon soda. Special emphasis is placed on water from a local source or a deep well, to be placed by the stage without labels.

The catering list includes 30 empty salad containers, two kilograms of chicken fillet, a charcoal grill, 250 grams of 'Francis' Provence mayonnaise, two packs of lemon pepper (mandatory), and five liters of chanterelles or other seasonal forest berries.

The dressing room must have at least five power outlets and a stable internet connection of at least 50 Mbps, suitable for 'Counter-Strike 2,' 'World of Warcraft Classic,' and 'MU Online.' The temperature should not be below 68°F, and the room must include a 30x30 cm mirror, 40 rolls of two-ply toilet paper, six towels in different colors, and an air freshener or 'Moment' glue.

The technical section requires a certified dowser's statement confirming the absence of underground water streams. If the event starts late, for every 10 minutes of delay, the band consumes an extra drink and is not responsible for performance quality. Delays exceeding 30 minutes grant the right to impose a 'symbolic penalty,' for which a football and pump must be provided.

The document also includes demands for a diesel generator, an inflatable mattress, and a separate smoke machine for backstage use, which the band may also use after the concert.
