Putin will try to drive a wedge between Ukraine and Latvia, but will not succeed – Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister
Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Oleksandr Mishchenko said in an interview with LSM.lv that Russia will attempt to influence Latvia's parliamentary elections to damage Latvia-Ukraine relations, but it will not succeed.

In an interview with Latvian public broadcaster LSM.lv, Ukraine's Deputy Foreign Minister Oleksandr Mishchenko described Latvia as an important ally and strategic partner. He stated that during the upcoming Latvian parliamentary elections, Russia will try to drive a wedge between Kyiv and Riga, but it will fail to do so. The conversation also covered other issues, including the NATO summit, Ukraine's experience with drone technology, and prospects for resuming peace negotiations. Mishchenko expressed confidence that Russia's attempts to undermine the strong ties between Ukraine and Latvia would not yield results.
