Food and Veterinary Service urges eastern border hunters to hand in foxes and raccoon dogs
Latvia's Food and Veterinary Service is asking hunters along the eastern border to hand in hunted foxes and raccoon dogs. Compensation is offered for each animal.

The Food and Veterinary Service (PVD), a Latvian state agency, is calling on hunters in the country's eastern border area to hand in the foxes and raccoon dogs they have shot. Compensation is offered for every animal hunted. The appeal applies only to specifically listed territories.
