Riga Central Station is one of the busiest meeting points in the capital, and it will undergo significant changes in the coming years. By the end of this year, construction of the southern part of the station is planned to be completed, marking a visible milestone in the Rail Baltica project. This will be followed by infrastructure modernization to gradually launch passenger services. Participants at the Lampa festival discussion will address how the new railway infrastructure will fit into Riga's urban environment, how it will change connectivity to Riga Airport and the surrounding area, and how a modern, safe, and accessible environment will be created. Representatives from the Ministry of Transport, SIA "Eiropas Dzelzceļa līnijas", SIA "Bererix", and VAS "Latvijas dzelzceļš" will take part.
