Corn Snake Found in Rakvere
A corn snake was discovered near an apartment building in Rakvere, Estonia, during lawn mowing. The house manager caught it and is temporarily caring for it.

On July 1, a corn snake was found near an apartment building in Rakvere. According to house manager Karen Kangur, a worker noticed a bright object while mowing grass, which initially appeared to be a child's toy. However, it suddenly began moving and slithered under a piece of tin near a basement window. Kangur managed to catch the snake in a shoebox. At a veterinary clinic, it was determined that the snake had no microchip, making it impossible to identify an owner. For now, Kangur's family is caring for the reptile.
