Rahm Emanuel on Possible 2028 Run, NATO, and Israel
Former Obama chief of staff Rahm Emanuel discussed NATO, Russia, and the Middle East in an interview, while leaving open the possibility of running for US president in 2028.

Rahm Emanuel, former chief of staff to President Barack Obama and a potential Democratic candidate for the 2028 presidential election, gave an interview touching on key foreign policy issues.
Emanuel stressed that the US public remains strongly supportive of NATO despite Donald Trump's erratic statements. He called for a new collective deterrence strategy against a "wounded" Russia.
On the Middle East, Emanuel sharply criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, warning that a purely military strategy undermines Israel's global support and its status as a "startup nation."
Regarding his own potential candidacy in 2028, Emanuel left the door open, stating that it depends on resolving domestic crises in education, housing, and healthcare.
