Rescuers in Raplamaa Remove Threat on Tallinn–Pärnu–Ikla Highway
Rescuers in Raplamaa quickly removed a damaged billboard part that was hanging over the Tallinn–Pärnu–Ikla highway, eliminating a potential traffic hazard.

On July 6 at 8:11 PM, a witness in Varbola village, Märjamaa parish, noticed that a large piece had broken off a billboard and was dangling above the roadway, posing an imminent danger of falling. The emergency center was alerted, and rescuers promptly arrived at the scene. Using an extension ladder and climbing gear, they ascended to the structure and dismantled the hazardous element. Thanks to the timely report and the swift response of the rescue team, the threat to road users was averted. The Rescue Department praised the witness for their vigilance, which prevented a potential accident on the busy highway.
