Rasa wins bronze at European U23 rowing championship
Latvian rower Rasa has claimed third place in the lightweight single sculls at the European U23 Championship. Other Latvian rowers also posted strong results.

Latvian rower Rasa has won a bronze medal in the lightweight single sculls at the European U23 Championship. She completed the final in 7 minutes and 43.11 seconds, finishing 0.35 seconds ahead of the fourth-place finisher.
The gold medal went to Italy's Luca Borgonovo, who beat Rasa by 9.23 seconds. Seven other athletes competed against Rasa in the event.
Other Latvian athletes
Patriks Strazds and Emils Niks Donovs also reached the A final, competing in the lightweight double sculls, where the Latvian pair finished fifth among 12 competitors.
In the lightweight single sculls B final, which decided places seven through twelve, Arturs Zirnis finished fifth, placing him 11th overall out of 13 competitors in the event.
