Real Madrid Win First Euroleague Game as Panathinaikos and Valencia Stay Perfect
In Euroleague round four, Panathinaikos comfortably beat Fenerbahce, while Real Madrid claimed their first win of the season against Partizan. Panathinaikos and Valencia remain the only unbeaten teams.

In the fourth round of the Euroleague, Panathinaikos of Athens beat Istanbul's Fenerbahce 92:74 at home, keeping top spot in the standings with four wins from four games.
The best performers for the winners were Nigel Hayes-Davis and Mathias Lessort, who scored 19 points each, with Lessort also grabbing eight rebounds. Sylvain Francisco added 17 points and seven assists. For Fenerbahce, only Johnny Juzang scored more than ten points, finishing with 13 points and seven rebounds.
The game carried an extra storyline: Panathinaikos are again coached by Zeljko Obradovic, a nine-time Euroleague champion, while Fenerbahce are led by Sarunas Jasikevicius. As a player, Jasikevicius won the 2009 Euroleague with Panathinaikos under Obradovic.
Valencia also unbeaten
Valencia have also started the season with four wins, beating Tel Aviv's Hapoel 93:82 at home. Cameron Taylor scored 17 points, and TJ Shorts had 15 points and seven assists. Hapoel were not saved by Anthony Blakeney's 30 points, which included eight three-pointers from eleven attempts.
Real Madrid find a win
Last season's runners-up Real Madrid celebrated their first victory of the campaign, beating Belgrade's Partizan 86:76 at home and handing them their first defeat. Theo Maledon was the top scorer for Madrid with 13 points, while Carlik Jones had 19 for the visitors.
In Munich, Virtus Bologna won 94:87 against Bayern. Wendell Moore scored 20 points, grabbed nine rebounds and made three steals. For the hosts, Oscar da Silva and Dwayne Washington each had 18 points.
After four rounds, Valencia are second in the standings, with Fenerbahce third on three wins and one loss.
