Real Sociedad and Celta Vigo shared the points after a goalless 0:0 draw in San Sebastian, in a match from the fourth round of Spain's top division.

The hosts controlled the opening half. In the 13th minute, Jon Martin won an aerial duel from a corner kick, but Celta goalkeeper Ionuț Radu, helped by a teammate, kept the ball out. Eight minutes later, Mikel Oyarzabal received a pass in the box and shot on goal; the goalkeeper parried it, and after a dangerous rebound Takefusa Kubo failed to convert, sending the ball over the bar.
Statistically, Real Sociedad were clearly on top, holding 62% possession, registering eight shots on target attempts with five on frame, and earning six corners. Despite the pressure, they could not find a breakthrough.
In the second half, the hosts eased off, allowing Celta Vigo to get more involved in attack. Iago Aspas tried a close-range effort, but the shot lacked power and was comfortably saved by goalkeeper Alex Remiro.
Standings
With the result, Celta Vigo remain in 16th place and still without a win this season. Real Sociedad moved up to 11th, edging closer to the top ten.
The fourth round of La Liga continues the same evening, with Real Madrid hosting Real Betis at 22:00.
