Red Bull has reportedly turned down a $3 billion offer for its second Formula 1 team, Racing Bulls, though the information remains unofficially confirmed. The team continues to serve as a platform for developing young drivers for the main squad.
According to a report, Red Bull has rejected a $3 billion offer to sell its Racing Bulls team. The bid reportedly came from an individual who previously served as an advisor to former Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone and was involved in talks over the sport's commercial ownership change before Liberty Media arrived in 2016.
However, neither Red Bull nor the involved investors have publicly confirmed either the offer or its rejection, meaning the information is not officially verified.
Racing Bulls, based in Faenza, Italy, remains an integral part of Red Bull's two-team structure. That setup allows young talents to gain experience before a potential promotion to the main team. Both Max Verstappen and current Red Bull driver Isack Hadjar previously followed that path. For the 2026 season, Racing Bulls will be represented by Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad.
Earlier reports also suggested that Red Bull had turned down smaller offers valuing the team between $2 billion and $2.3 billion.
