Reišulis brothers fifth and ninth in MX2 qualification in Czech Republic; Bidzāns 28th in MXGP
Latvian motocross riders Jānis Mārtiņš Reišulis and Kārlis Alberts Reišulis finished fifth and ninth respectively in the MX2 qualification of the 13th round of the World Championship in Czech Republic on Saturday, while Edvards Bidzāns placed 28th in the MXGP class.
Latvian motocross competitors took part in the qualification races of the 13th round of the FIM Motocross World Championship in the Czech Republic on Saturday. In the MX2 class, Jānis Mārtiņš Reišulis clocked the fifth fastest time, while his brother Kārlis Alberts Reišulis secured ninth place.
In the premier MXGP category, Edvards Bidzāns finished 28th in the qualification. Another Latvian rider, Pauls Jonass, did not participate in this round. The qualification results determine the starting grid for Sunday's main races.
The Czech round is the 13th of the season. Riders will compete in two motos on Sunday to earn points towards the overall standings.
