Two German content creators, Bernd Konrad and Alexander Schäfer, set out to test the real-world range of the Renault Clio Full Hybrid E-Tech 160. They chose different routes and drove in natural traffic flow without using extreme fuel-saving techniques.

Bernd Konrad started in Cologne and headed toward Lake Garda, covering 1,112 kilometers. His car's onboard computer showed an average fuel consumption of just 3.59 liters per 100 kilometers, confirmed by fuel receipts. Alexander Schäfer began in Heilbronn, crossed France, and visited several Renault Group factories. He drove 1,101 kilometers with an average consumption of 3.64 L/100 km.

Both drivers aimed to match or beat the manufacturer's claimed average consumption of 4.1 L/100 km. Their results exceeded it by about 0.5 L/100 km. On highways, they maintained speeds around 100 km/h, and on regional roads, they obeyed speed limits.
