Latvian hip hop artist ansis has received his fourth nomination for 'Austras balva', one of the country's notable music industry awards. He discussed the recurring nomination in an interview with Latvian Radio 5's program 'Piektais ātrums', speaking with humor about his repeated presence among the nominees.

The artist recalled that during a previous nomination, organizers had described him as one of the contributing factors that helps an album get nominated for the award. He noted that another such 'success factor' at the time was linked to producer Aleksis Luriņš.

New album '222'

This year, ansis will await the award ceremony alongside his latest album, '222', which appears to have again caught the attention of industry figures and award organizers. While joking about his repeated nomination, the rapper emphasized that he takes pride in the recognition he has received.

ansis is known in the Latvian music scene as one of the most active figures in the hip hop genre, with his work regularly drawing attention from both listeners and industry experts. Four nominations for the same award point to his sustained presence on the Latvian music scene over an extended period.

Further details about the timing of the award ceremony or other nominees were not disclosed in the interview.
