Former Rēzekne Technical School Employees Accused of Embezzling State Funds
Latvian prosecutors have charged a former bookkeeper and director of Rēzekne Technical School for embezzling nearly €70,000. The case has been sent to court.

On July 2, the prosecutor's office forwarded a criminal case to the Latgale Regional Court, in which former employees of Rēzekne Technical School are accused of swindling state budget funds.
The bookkeeper is charged with embezzling €69,220, while the director is accused of failing to ensure adequate financial control. According to the investigation, the director's negligence allowed the criminal activities to continue for several years.
