RFS beats Jelgava 2-0 to advance to Latvian Cup quarterfinals

In the Round of 16 of the Latvian Cup, FC RFS faced FS Jelgava in a match that saw early drama. Just two minutes into the game, Jelgava was reduced to ten players after a red card, significantly impacting their tactics.
RFS capitalized on the numerical advantage and scored in the first half, taking the lead. In the second half, they continued to dominate and added a second goal, making the score 2-0.
Despite Jelgava's efforts to fight back, RFS's defense held firm, and the match ended without any further goals. The victory sends RFS to the quarterfinals of the Latvian Cup, where they will compete against one of the remaining teams in the tournament.
