RFS draws with Auda, returns to top of Latvian football league
RFS played a 1-1 draw against Auda in the 22nd round, reclaiming the top spot in the standings. After a loss to Riga, RFS had three consecutive wins but settled for a point this time.

RFS hosted Auda on Saturday in the 22nd round of the Tonybet Latvian Football Virslīga, ending in a 1-1 draw that allowed RFS to regain the league lead. The match saw Auda take the lead in the 61st minute when Oskars Rubenis fired a long-range shot into the RFS net, with goalkeeper Jevgeņijs Nerugals getting a touch but unable to keep it out. RFS equalized in the 78th minute from a penalty kick. Stefan Panič took the spot kick, Auda goalkeeper Nils Toms Puriņš saved it, but the ball hit the left post, bounced off Puriņš's head, and rolled into the corner of the net. Minutes earlier, Auda had a second goal scored by Kader Koné in a counterattack, but after a VAR review, it was disallowed due to a foul by Auda players in their own penalty area. Later, the ball entered the RFS goal again, but the goal was ruled out for offside.
