Latvian top-tier football club RFS has officially announced the signing of a 21-year-old Croatian striker. The player, who has represented Croatia at the U21 level, joins the club on a long-term contract until the end of the 2029 season, with an option to extend. The transfer fee was not disclosed in the club's statement.
Early Career and Development
The striker began his football journey in his hometown of Karlovac, gaining wider recognition after moving to the "Rijeka" academy. In 2022, he won the Croatian U17 cup with Rijeka, defeating Zagreb's "Dinamo" in the final. In 2024, he ventured abroad for the first time, joining Czech club "Mlada Boleslav" on loan.
Success at Rudeš
He later returned to "Rudeš", where at the age of 18 he scored his first goals in the Croatian top flight. His most successful season came with "Rudeš" in the Croatian First League (second tier), where he became one of the team's leaders. In 32 matches, the forward contributed nine goals and three assists, playing a key role in helping Rudeš win the league and secure promotion back to the top division.
International Experience
In 2026, Korač played three matches for the Croatian U21 national team in friendlies against Greece, Qatar, and Ireland.
