RFS strengthens squad with Portuguese talent Alfu Baldé

Latvian football club RFS has announced the signing of 21-year-old Portuguese midfielder Alfu Baldé on a contract until the end of the 2029 season.

RFS has officially announced the addition of Portuguese footballer Alfu Baldé to the team. The contract runs until the end of the 2029 season, with an option to extend. The 21-year-old Baldé previously played for Serbian SuperLiga club Radnički 1923, where he made 45 appearances over one and a half seasons, scoring one goal and providing three assists. He also made his debut in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers with Radnički. Baldé began his football career at the Benfica academy in Lisbon, later moving to Porto's system. With Porto, he played in the UEFA Youth League for two seasons and debuted in the Portuguese second division with the reserve team. Baldé has represented Portugal at U-15, U-16, and U-17 youth levels. RFS currently sits at the top of the Latvian Virslīga. On Thursday, the team will play the return leg of the UEFA Conference League second qualifying round, aiming to advance to the third round.
