Riga Dramatically Advance to Third Qualifying Round of Conference League

Latvian football champions “Riga” narrowly escaped defeat at the end of regular time in the return leg and then dominated Skopje's “Vardar” in extra time, winning 3-2 on the night and 5-2 on aggregate. This victory earns them a spot in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League, where they will face the unexpected Hungarian champions ETO Győr.
