The show presents works by twenty-seven Greek artists. Their output has been shaped by the interplay of light, geography, climate and cultural heritage.
What makes art contemporary?
The exhibition invites visitors to consider what contemporary art actually means. Is it defined by form, material and a fresh take on a traditional genre? Or is it rather an artist's response to what is happening in society? These questions remain open, and viewers can look for their own answers in the works of the Greek artists.
The exhibition's title draws on a statement that, whatever happens, there will always be sun.
