Riga Comeback to Beat Tukums 2000, Extend Unbeaten Run to 22 Matches
Latvian Higher League leaders Riga FC rallied from a halftime deficit to defeat Tukums 2000 3-1 on Saturday, securing their third consecutive victory.

Riga FC staged a second-half comeback to beat Tukums 2000 3-1 in the opening match of the 23rd round of the Tonybet Latvian Higher League on Saturday, extending their unbeaten streak to 22 league games.
After a goalless first half saw a Reginaldo Ramirez goal ruled out for a handball in the buildup, Tukums took the lead in the first minute of added time through a counterattack finished by Leoni Pereira.
Riga equalized in the 64th minute when Zinedine Ulad scored from distance after a pass from Muhammed Badamosi. With four minutes remaining, Badamosi headed in from Ulad's cross to make it 2-1. Shortly after, Orlando Galo converted a cross from Jago Siqueira to seal the win.
Riga have now won three in a row and are unbeaten in 22 league matches, with only four draws in that period. One of those draws was a 3-3 thriller against Tukums earlier this season, where Oloko Ede scored all three goals for Tukums. Ede has since returned to Liepaja. In the second round, Riga also won 3-1 away, with Ede again on the scoresheet for Tukums.
Tukums have lost five consecutive league games, and six in all competitions including the Latvian Cup quarterfinal.
In the standings, Riga lead with 58 points from 23 games, two ahead of RFS (22 games). Tukums are ninth with 17 points.
