First Polestar showroom opens in Riga
Scandinavian EV brand Polestar has officially entered the Latvian market with its first dealership in Riga, opened by dealer Mūsa Motors. Until now, the brand was only available on the used-car market.
Electric vehicle maker Polestar, previously available in Latvia only through the used-car market, has opened its first official showroom in the country. The new dealership is located within Mūsa Motors Rīga's premises on Skanstes Street 33.
At the opening, Polestar's regional executive director Zachary Hollis noted that the brand has reached a mature stage in its development. A decade ago, its models closely resembled contemporary Volvo vehicles, but Polestar has since developed its own distinct visual identity while retaining Scandinavian design influences. Mūsa Motors Rīga director Artūrs Bukšs described the brand as a combination of high performance, Scandinavian minimalism, and quality at a relatively accessible price point.
Models and power
The showroom currently offers the Polestar 4 and Polestar 3 models. An SUV version of the Polestar 4, featuring a full rear window, will be introduced soon. Early next year, the sporty Polestar 5 will arrive on the market, while a next-generation successor to the Polestar 2 is planned for release by the end of 2027. Power output across the lineup ranges from 500 to 700 horsepower, with the company representative emphasizing that the brand's focus extends beyond straight-line speed to handling and control.
Service and warranty
Full operations at the showroom are expected to launch during September, though customers can already access the offering. Polestar vehicles come with a full-cycle warranty of three years or 100,000 kilometers, with an option to extend. Spare parts logistics run through the regional center in Gothenburg, matching Volvo's supply chain, since both brands have long been represented by the same company in Latvia.
