Riga FC win but exit Champions League qualifying

Latvian club Riga FC defeated Armenia's Ararat-Armenia 3-2 at home, but lost 4-3 on aggregate in the first qualifying round of the Champions League. They will continue their European season in the Conference League qualifiers.

Riga FC hosted Ararat-Armenia on Tuesday in the second leg of the Champions League first qualifying round. The home side secured a 3-2 victory, but it was not enough to advance to the next stage.

Over the two legs, the Armenian team prevailed with a 4-3 aggregate scoreline, eliminating Riga FC from the Champions League.

However, the Latvian club's European season is not over. Riga FC will continue in the lower-tier UEFA Conference League qualifiers. The opponent and match schedule have yet to be determined.
