Bolt to launch shared bikes in Riga, starting in the city centre and nearby districts
Bolt is introducing a bike-sharing service in Riga, initially available in the city centre and the neighbourhoods closest to it, the company told the LETA news agency.

The mobility platform Bolt has announced the launch of a shared bike service in Riga. According to information the company provided to the LETA news agency, the bikes will initially be available in the city centre and the districts closest to it.
The company has not disclosed further details about a possible expansion to other parts of the city or a timeline for such an expansion. Bolt already operates ride-hailing and other mobility services in Riga and several other cities.
Shared bike schemes have become an increasingly common urban mobility option in a number of European capitals in recent years, offering residents and visitors an alternative way to cover shorter distances within city limits.
