Riga to open Conference League campaign at home against Kairat
Riga will play their first Conference League league-phase match on October 15, hosting Almaty's Kairat at Skonto Stadium. The Latvian club have six fixtures in the league phase: four at home and two away.

UEFA has published the Conference League league-phase schedule for Latvian club Riga, who will open their campaign at home on October 15. The match against Almaty side Kairat at Skonto Stadium is set for 19:45 local time and will mark Riga's debut in the competition's main stage.
A week later, on October 22, Riga will travel to Cyprus to face Pafos at 19:45. On November 5, the club will play their only late home game of the league phase, hosting Czech side Jablonec at 22:00. That fixture comes before the November international break.
At the end of November, Riga will visit Lithuania for a Baltic derby against Kauno Žalgiris on November 26 at 19:45. December brings two more matches: Riga host Italy's Atalanta on December 10 at 19:45 and then travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina to meet Borac on December 17 at 22:00.
The calendar is tightly linked to domestic commitments. The opener against Kairat takes place ten days after the Latvian national team's away match in Cyprus, while Riga themselves head to Cyprus a week later to face Pafos. The Jablonec game is scheduled just three days before the final round of the Latvian top division, when Riga are due to meet RFS in a derby at Skonto Stadium.
Kauno Žalgiris have also received their fixture list. The Lithuanian club begin at Brighton on October 15 and finish with a home game against Freiburg on December 17. At home they will also face Brann and Riga.
