Ambulance and car collide at Riga intersection
An emergency medical service vehicle and a passenger car collided on Saturday morning at a Riga intersection, causing minor traffic congestion. Police say there is no information about injuries.

On Saturday morning, at around 7:54 a.m., a road accident occurred in Riga at the intersection of Brīvības Street and Gustava Zemgala Street, where two vehicles collided. The incident caused a brief traffic jam, with drivers having to wait a short while before continuing on their way.
According to information the State Police provided to Delfi, the crash involved a vehicle belonging to the State Emergency Medical Service (NMPD), a Volkswagen, and a passenger car, a Kia.
Police currently have no information indicating that anyone involved was injured in the collision. The exact circumstances of the incident are still being clarified as police continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
