International Art Festival 'Macchiato XVI – Sauleszaķi' to Be Held in Riga
The 16th edition of the festival organized by the Italian-founded collective 'Macchiato Celebratio Artis' will take place at the 'Raa' art space in Riga, bringing together artists from various countries.

Starting June 30, the international art festival 'Macchiato XVI – Sauleszaķi' will be held in Riga at the 'Raa' art space. It is the 16th edition organized by the 'Macchiato Celebratio Artis' collective, which was founded in Italy and originated from personal encounters. The collective has evolved into a series of international exhibitions and cultural events with a changing theme.
Its mission is to promote love for art in its various forms. This year, the festival takes place in the Latvian capital, Riga. The program features works by artists from multiple countries, reflecting the theme 'Sauleszaķi' (Sunbeams). The 'Raa' art space will serve as the central venue where creatives from different nations gather to share experiences and showcase their art.
This festival offers the Latvian public a chance to experience an international art event that traditionally brings together diverse cultures and artistic expressions. The 'Macchiato Celebratio Artis' collective has previously organized events elsewhere in the world, but this is the first time it is held in Riga.
