Riga hosts "Sunflower Path" march marking Ukraine's Independence Day

A march called "Sunflower Path" took place in Riga on Monday to mark Ukraine's Independence Day, while Latvia's public media continues a donation campaign with charity Ziedot.lv to support Ukraine.

At the same time, Latvia's public media outlet continues its joint support campaign with the charity organization Ziedot.lv, called "In Thoughts and Deeds Together with Ukraine." The campaign is collecting funds to provide Ukrainian servicemembers with medical assistance, psychological support, and the opportunity to return to normal life.

Both initiatives — the march and the fundraising effort — form part of a broader show of solidarity with Ukraine on its Independence Day.
