The family of Inese Pučeka has invited the public to attend a farewell ceremony scheduled for August 12, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., at the Riga crematorium, located at Varoņu iela 3A.
Details of the event were shared on the Instagram page of the podcast "Retinātā gaisā" ("In Thin Air"), which Pučeka herself hosted.
The climber died on May 28 while attempting to climb Denali, the highest peak in North America, located in Alaska, United States.
Through her podcast, Pučeka shared her experience and knowledge of mountaineering and extreme challenges with listeners.
Her family has asked anyone wishing to honor her memory to attend at the announced time and place.
