On September 5, the city will host the contemporary culture forum White Night, taking place simultaneously at various locations across Riga. Visitors will be able to attend the experimental music festival Skaņu mežs, the Satori poetry disco, and explore street art together with artist Dainis Rudens. The program also includes the Antonijas Street festival and an interactive environmental installation called Elpa (Breath). A play about men's pain
On September 3, the play The Stronger Sex will be staged at Dirty Deal Teatro, directed by Toms Treinis. The story follows a man trying to enlist his friends in addressing Latvia's demographic decline, only to discover that even three men struggle to agree on a single plan. Through this premise, the production touches on something men rarely admit openly — that they, too, experience pain. The cast includes actors Jānis Āmanis, Jurijs Djakonovs and Emīls Krūmiņš.
