Riga's "Dzirciema Pagalms" project to invest €4.5 million in second building
The second building of Riga's "Dzirciema Pagalms" residential project will include 42 apartments, with the entire 114-apartment complex due for completion by summer 2028. Total investment in the project reaches €11.5 million.
Development continues on Riga's "Dzirciema Pagalms" residential project, with construction now planned for a second building following the first, which is already under construction. The second building will require an investment of €4.5 million.
The new building will contain 42 apartments with two to four rooms, ranging from 42 to 82 square meters. Together with the first building, it will complete the project's architectural composition — two six-story buildings totaling 114 apartments in all.
Infrastructure improvements
Alongside construction of the buildings, the developer also plans to upgrade a section of Mazā Stacijas Street running past the project site, resurfacing the roadway and pedestrian path with new asphalt and installing speed bumps to improve pedestrian safety.
The site will include bicycle parking, and some car parking spaces will be equipped with electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Both buildings will meet the A+ energy efficiency class, with solar panels planned for the rooftops to help reduce shared electricity costs, while apartments will feature individual ventilation systems with heat recovery.
Timeline and investment
The project's first phase involves a six-story building with 72 apartments (38–79 square meters), with nearly €7 million invested in its construction. Completion is planned for late summer 2027.
Total investment across the entire project reaches €11.5 million, with the whole "Dzirciema Pagalms" development expected to be completed by summer 2028.
