On Saturday, August 29, Riga's passenger port held the first international kite festival called «Fantadrom». The event brought together recognized kite artists from several countries, including participants from Europe, Australia and China.
Visitors to the festival had the chance to admire impressive flying sculptures created by the participating artists, as well as watch demonstrations by sport kite flyers. The event also included a number of other kite-related activities that drew the attention of both adults and children.
