The Riga-based architecture office ARPLAN, founded by architect Rolands Bruzgulis, has been operating since 2001. Over the years, the firm has designed a wide range of projects, including residential, public, commercial, industrial, and urban planning objects. ARPLAN's signature goes beyond the shape of buildings – it also defines how people will feel in a given environment.

One of the office's largest projects is City Oasis, which aims to transform an industrial territory in Riga into a green, multi-layered, and pleasant city quarter. The project reflects the firm's human-, place-, and long-term-oriented approach. City Oasis demonstrates how a grey, industrial zone can be converted into an attractive and sustainable part of the urban fabric, creating a balance between built structures and nature.
