Two trucks collide on Riga bypass road, traffic partially blocked

Two trucks collided on Monday on the Riga bypass road between Amatnieki and Mucenieki, with no injuries reported. Traffic toward the Ergli highway is partially restricted.

On Monday, August 24, at around 2:18 PM, the State Police received a report of a road accident on the Riga bypass road. The collision occurred in the section between Amatnieki and Mucenieki and involved two trucks.

Traffic restrictions

At the accident site, traffic heading toward the P4 highway (Riga–Ergli) is currently partially blocked. The State Police are urging drivers traveling in that direction to choose an alternative route to avoid congestion and delays.
