Riga Municipality Auctions Two Land Plots in Šķirotava

The Riga City Council has announced an auction for two undeveloped land plots at Šķembu Street 20 and 22 in the Šķirotava neighborhood, with a combined starting price exceeding 379,000 euros.

The Riga municipality has put up for auction two undeveloped land plots in the Šķirotava neighborhood, located at Šķembu Street 20 and Šķembu Street 22. Each plot covers more than one hectare, with a total starting price of 379,200 euros. The areas were previously used as family gardens and still contain garden houses, sheds, greenhouses, and various waste such as household trash, tires, furniture, and wooden pallets.

The plots are situated in the block between Šķembu, Radžu, Granīta, and Rājumsila streets. According to the territorial plan, the entire area is designated for industrial development. Currently, the properties are not leased.

Plot at Šķembu Street 20 has an area of 11,032 square meters and a starting price of 194,200 euros, while the plot at Šķembu Street 22 (11,138 square meters) starts at 185,000 euros. The auction step is 2,000 euros. Buyers must commence economic activity in the processing industry within three years of concluding the transaction. Bids can be submitted on the electronic auction website until July 15.
