Riga Municipality Company 'Rīgas Nami' Announces Competition for Board Member
SIA 'Rīgas nami' has announced a recruitment process for a board member position after the temporary board member's term ended. Candidates must have expertise in finance and real estate management.
The Riga municipality-owned company SIA 'Rīgas nami' has launched an open competition to fill a board member seat. The vacancy arose following the conclusion of Kaspars Kociņš's tenure as an interim board member.
Currently, the company's board consists of two members: Chairman Ojārs Valkers and board member Mārcis Budļevskis. Since regulations require three board members, the company is seeking an additional specialist.
Applicants must demonstrate competence in financial management and real estate leasing and administration. Educational requirements include a higher academic degree or second-level professional higher education in finance, business, management, or economics. Proficiency in Latvian at C1 level and English at B2 level is also required.
Professional experience must include at least three consecutive years in a leading position equivalent to a board member in a medium or large public or private capital company. Candidates must also have an impeccable reputation and comply with the Law on Prevention of Conflict of Interest.
The selected board member will receive a monthly salary of €5,360 before taxes. The selection process will take place in three rounds, overseen by a nomination committee and a recruitment company.
In 2025, 'Rīgas nami' reported a turnover of €28.42 million, a 3.3% increase from the previous year, and ended the year with a profit of €94,000. The company is wholly owned by the Riga municipality.
